Satori is currently in the process of recruiting anyone that meets the following requirements:
- Desire to see PVE content with a group of 9 to 24 like-minded individuals focused on improvement and experiencing what the game has to offer.
- Maturity in an environment that fosters immaturity. It's easy for people to act like tools in an online environment because of the anonymity of the internet. Our player base is older than most guilds (25+) and we have a group of mature, respectful players that treat people the way they would like to be treated. If you're an ego-driven, immature tool, you might last a couple of days depending on how good you are at hiding it.
- Patience is key. If you want to get into Black Temple right now, you'll likely suffer. If having a raid called because we only have 23 people makes you cut yourself, you should stock up on band-aids. The goal is to experience new content but I won't do that at the expense of having to invite asshats into the guild.
- Ability to play your class effectively (or at least the ability to learn). If you can't handle constructive criticism about your spec or playing, this probably isn't the guild for you.
Feel free to apply. Our application is rigorous but it's helped us weed out some of the asshats that snuck through the cracks and really focuses on what we consider to be important about people you're going to spend 20-30 hours a week with. |

<Kara Killed My Guild>, the leet band of alter-egos from the "dead" guild Satori, is currently messing around in Zul'Aman prior to it's release on the live servers. It's refreshing to go into an instance and actually work out and test strategies on our own. Now, if I'd only waited a day or two to transfer my paladin, I might not run out of mana 3 pulls into the trash leading up to the Eagle boss.
Grats to Karniusst on his [Jungle Stompers] and here's hoping they drop for him on live!

That's two new bosses in one week! It's amazing what we can do when we get 25 people online at once. Another 3 pull, we went from 80% to 30% and had 6 people alive at 1%. You can see how it ended up for him.

Pass the tartar sauce. My plan was to fraps this kill but it came on the third pull of the night and I wasn't expecting it to go as well as it did. 76% first try, 53% second try, kill. Flawless until we lost a healer and ended with 3-4 dead.

Great job! Let's get us a few more healers and we'll be churning through bosses with no problems.

Actually, 3rd pull of the night, 5th pull since killing Maulgar, we deep-dicked Gruul and laid him down. 2 new boss kills in our last 2 raids. Things are looking up!

So, to start the night, we decided to see if we could take a crack at Void Reaver. Unfortunately, TK trash is NOT fucking around and Serious Cat met us at the door.
Because hindsight is 20/20, we realized that 1 lock wasn't going to cut it for VR trash so we decided to make another run at Gruul a couple days early. However, we walked away with a Nether Vortex and a LW pattern.
2nd serious pull (Hunter pet FTL), we downed him with a nearly flawless kill. I say nearly because the warlock add demolished two of our tanks early into the fight.
Loots were:

[Warbringer Shoulderguards] - Karnius
We took Gruul to 48% on our 2nd attempt and called it because it was late. We'll give him a couple of days to think about what he's done and then we're bringing the punishment on Sunday.
